The Dudley Chorus is a 25-voice choir directed by Dudley Music Fellow Michael Barrett. The Chorus is made up primarily of students in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences but welcomes other members of the Harvard community. All interested singers are welcome to join us. Informal auditions are held during the week following the first rehearsal.
SCHEDULE FOR SPRING 2008 Rehearsals: Tuesday evenings, 7:00-9:00 pm in the Common Room. Occasionally the Chorus will meet on Thursday evenings. A full schedule will be provided early in the term. Our first rehearsal of the spring term will take place on Tuesday, February 5 at 7 pm in the Dudley Common Room. Please stop by, even if you're not sure about joining! Concert: Our concert will take place on Saturday, May 3 at 8 pm in the Dudley Main Dining Hall. We will perform a concert of English choral music, featuring works by Dunstable, Purcell, Britten, and more. We hope you can join us! THE DUDLEY CONSORT The Dudley Consort is a vocal chamber ensemble for more experienced singers, whose members will be drawn from the Chorus. Rehearsals are arranged based on members' availability.
