Welcome to the Dudley House Literary Arts Program! Our activities include:
The Dudley Review — an annual literary arts journal that publishes poetry, short fiction, essays, and graphic art. The Review welcomes submissions from all of Harvard’s schools. This year’s submissions deadline is January 15th, 2010.
The Dudley House Book Club — a monthly affair. For our next meeting on Thursday, November 12th we will be reading Nathaniel Hawthorne’s novel The Blithedale Romance.
The Dudley House Writer’s Workshop — If the phrase “academic prose” does not encompass your literary achievements or aspirations, check out the Writer’s Workshop. Bring in whatever you’re currently working on (poetry, essay, fiction, memoir, drama . . .), or feel free to simply join in the discussion and the in-session writing. Our next meeting is Sunday, October 18th.
The Dudley House Writing Boot Camp — whether you’re working on a term paper or the next chapter of your dissertation, this event will help you with the first step: sitting down to write. Join us for our next Boot Camp on October 17th & 18th.
