Arts Literacy
The
Arts Literacy Project (ArtsLit) is dedicated to developing the literacy of youth through the performing and visual arts. Based in the Education Department at Brown University, ArtsLit gathers an international community of artists, teachers, youth, college students, and professors with the goal of collaboratively creating innovative approaches to literacy development through the arts.
Habla
HABLA is a school and professional development center based in Mérida, Mexico. HABLA was founded by Kurt Wootton, director of the ArtsLiteracy Project at Brown University, and Marimar Patron Vazquez. The Center provides support for schools around the world with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. HABLA is also an international language school piloting innovative approaches to teaching second languages.
