  • For information about our Undergraduate Program, including requirements, see "Programs -> Undergraduates" above.

  • For our undergraduate reading lists, see "Programs -> Reading Lists" above.

  • For information about individual faculty members and their interests, see "People -> Faculty" above.

  • For information about the Harvard Classical Club, see "Links -> Classical Club" above.

  • For information about our undergraduate classical journal, see "Links -> Persephone" above.

2) If you are planning a visit to the Department:

  • It is advisable that you set up an appointment with the Director of Undergraduate Studies beforehand. See "Contact" above for details.

  • Please note that no one will be available to meet with you formally during the summer.

3) If you would like to sit in on classes while you are here:

  • See "Courses -> Current" above to find out which courses interest you and meet during the days and times when you will be visiting.

  • If you have studied Latin or Greek previously, you should most likely select a 100-level course rather than a beginning one.

  • In most cases you are welcome to sit in on any class, with the exception of graduate seminars.

  • It is suggested that you contact the instructor via e-mail (see individual faculty pages for e-mail addresses) to ask for permission to sit in on the class, and also to find out if they might be taking an examination on that day.
