Here are Robert Hartwell's "China Historical Studies" GIS datasets. The folders listed below contain GIS data in two different formats. Folders listed on the left hand side of the table contain ArcView format files. Folders listed on the right hand side of the table contain MapInfo format files. NOTE ON DOWNLOADING: Netscape ("save link as") has not been working properly. InternetExlorer IE5.x ("save target as") has been tested and works fine. We advise using IE5.x and downloading one file at time, not entire folders. We do not have permission to set up an FTP site, otherwise we would.
