The permission extends only to the use of digital images of the maps, for use in non-commercial academic research. Any person or agency who wishes to print or publish the original map images, either in whole or in part must seek permission in advance from Harvard Yenching Institute. Except for the use of digital images of the maps, all regular copyright restrictions regarding the use of the maps shall apply.
