ID Number and ID Card
After your appointment has been activated, go to the Harvard ID Services Office (in person) to obtain your Harvard ID.You need a Harvard ID to access everything/anything at Harvard (including e-mail, libraries, buildings, etc...). Make sure to bring with you a photo ID (i.e. passport, or driver's license).

Harvard PIN
Once you have your Harvard ID, you'll need to activate your Personal Identification Number (PIN). Your PIN is intended to serve as a secure means of authenticating your identity to gain online access to University websites and information (i.e. set up your e-mail account, gym memberships, parking, etc...)
