CAROL J. OJA

 

Carol J. Oja , William Powell Mason Professor of Music. Oja was Professor of Music and American Studies at the College of William and Mary until this year. Her research focuses on composers in early 20th-century America. Oja's book, Making Music Modern: New York in the 1920s (2000) won the Lowens Book Award and an ASCAP Deems-Taylor Book Award. She is currently president-elect of the Society for American Music. For more information, click here.
