Europe-Asia Studies
Europe-Asia Studies remains the principal academic journal in the world focusing on the political, social and economic affairs of what were once the Soviet bloc countries, including their history. At the same time, the journal explores the economic, political and social transformation of these countries and the changing character of their relationship with the rest of Europe and Asia. The comparison with the transformation taking place in China is a further element in the general broadening of the field that used to be called Soviet Studies. Europe-Asia Studies is published by Routledge on behalf of the Department of Central and East European Studies, a centre for teaching and research at the University of Glasgow, UK. Members of the AAASS, the Association for the Study of Nationalities (ASN) and the British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies (BASEE) are eligible for an individual print subscription to the journal at £52/US$86.
