2008 AAASS Convention Hotel Reservation
The 40th National Convention of the AAASS will be held at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, 1201 Market Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from Thursday, November 20 through Sunday, November 23, 2008.
The Registration Desk will open on Thurday morning at 9:00 a.m. Panel Sessions will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. The last session on Sunday will begin at 10:15 a.m. and end at 12:15 p.m.
The AAASS special group rate for convention participants is $160 per night for a single or double room. To make a reservation, please click on the link to the reservation page for the Philadelphia Marriott, which will take you to the property's home page with the code necessary to get the group rate rooms already entered in the appropriate field. All you need to do is enter your arrival date to begin the reservation process.
Hotel Reservation for Graduate Students
We also have a limited number of rooms set aside for graduate students at a special rate of $99 per night. Graduate students should send a photocopy of their student ID and complete contact information (name, mailing address, e-mail address, and phone number) to Wendy Walker, AAASS Convention Coordinator, e-mail: walker@fas.harvard.edu, fax: 617-495-0680. Once Wendy receives your ID, she will e-mail you with a special code so that you may book your reservation online. Reservations are on a first come first served basis.
