The main work of the Committee on Education consists of soliciting and editing contributions for the column ?Teaching Slavic Studies? in the AAASS NewsNet. The committee meets each year at the AAASS annual convention to discuss potential submissions, and committee members and the committee chair then solicit essays. The committee chair edits submissions, in coordination with Jolanta Davis, the Editor of NewsNet.
