Harvard College Hosts Concentration Fair Tuesday, Sept. 18

Harvard College's Advising Programs Office will host the classes of 2010 and 2011 at a Concentration Fair scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 18, from 12 noon to 3 p.m. in Tercentenary Theatre. Free popcorn, hot dogs, and ice cream will be served.
Representatives of all 44 concentrations, many academic centers, and other offices serving freshmen and sophomores will attend. The event is especially important to this year's sophomores, who will for the first time be choosing concentrations during the third semester of courses at Harvard. The fair will also benefit first-years who are choosing courses for the first time.
Other attendees will include the Office of Career Services, the Bureau of Study Counsel, the Freshman Dean's Office, the Office of International Programs, pre-medical advisers, the Harvard College Libraries, the Asia Center, the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies, the Harvard College Research Program, and others.
The Concentration Fair's rain date is Thursday, Sept. 20, at the same time.
