Supporting House Renewal
System-wide House renewal will require transformational philanthropy on the scale of the $13 million gift from Edward Harkness in 1929 that created the original seven Houses, and it promises to shape Harvard for the next 100 years. In the meantime, today’s House Renewal activity depends on Dean Smith’s discretionary funds—immediate-use resources that are raised through the Harvard College Fund. If you are interested in supporting House Renewal, please consider an unrestricted gift to the Harvard College Fund.
