Activate your FAS Computer Account

To activate an FAS email account, you must first have a Harvard ID number and PIN. If you do not have a Harvard PIN:

  • Incoming College and GSAS Students: You should have received your PIN by postal mail. For more information, see getconnected.fas.harvard.edu.
  • Faculty and Staff: You can receive a temporary PIN in person at ID Services in Holyoke Center, or you can come to the Help Desk in Science Center B-13 with a photo ID to activate your account with a Computer Services staff member.
  • Extension and Summer School Students, Faculty, TAs and Proctors: You can request a PIN via email to your official email address by going to www.pin.harvard.edu

If you are not an FAS affiliate (College, GSAS, Extension, and Summer), click here for links to information technology resources at other Harvard schools.
