Programs
Undergraduate Program - History and Science as Part of a Joint Concentration
Students who wish to take History and Science as their secondary concentration in a joint concentration must meet the following departmental requirements without exception:
- Sophomore Tutorial - History of Science 97
- Three science courses, two of which may be introductory
- Three historical courses, one of which may be introductory
- Senior Thesis
Students who wish to take History and Science as their primary concentration in a joint concentration must meet the regular 14 half-course concentration requirement for History and Science concentrators.
Students: Be aware that while you may think of a joint concentration as a "double major," the Registrar does not. Whichever department you list first on your Change of Concentration form will be your primary concentration and the source of your degree recommendation, and the one you list second will be your secondary concentration.
