Submission Guidelines
Follow the guidelines below for all submissions.
Listings for The Beat are now submitted via our online web form. Listings submitted via email will be returned to sender with reference to the online form. All fields marked with a red asterisk are required. Required fields include:
Your Name & Email
Start Date
End Date
Title of Event
Group Name
Publicity Paragraph (maximum 10 lines)
Location of Event
Performance Dates and Time
Where are tickets available?
Cost of Admission

The Beat lists events from publication Thursday through the following Thursday. All submissions for the upcoming week must be received by Wednesday at 12:00 noon. Submissions received after this deadline will not be included.
The Beat is published every Thursday of the academic year, excluding major holiday weeks. The Beat is not published during Winter Recess and Reading Periods. During the summer, The Beat is published the last week of the month for events in the following month (i.e last Thursday in July for August events).
Events will be listed in The Beat email the week of the event. Future events will be posted in the online version only. Not all submissions may be included in The BEAT. Submissions may be edited for content.
