Welcome to The Beat!

The Beat is your weekly arts vibe at Harvard University. Sponsored by the Office for the Arts at Harvard (OFA), The Beat is distributed every Thursday of the academic year except recesses and exam periods. The Beat is driven by your submissions and accepts submissions on-line to feature your events, exhibitions, and opportunities.

Some examples of what the newsletter includes are current events (i.e. theater shows, lectures, workshops), ongoing events (long-term exhibitions), and arts opportunities (jobs, grants, competitions, etc.). Submit your listing for inclusion via the web form link below.

Also be sure to visit the discount page for many student discounts for arts & culture in the Boston area.

How to Subscribe

If you would like to receive the weekly email edition, please email The Beat (thebeat@fas) with "subscribe" in the subject heading of your email. Include your name, class year, and email address in the body of your email.

Please note: Subscribing to The Beat will also deliver information about the OFA's free BSO ticket program each week straight to your inbox.

If you would like to unsubscribe, please email The Beat with "Remove" as the subject heading of your email. Be sure to either email from or include your subscription email address in your message so we can accurately remove you.

If you have already subscribed, there is no need to do so again.
