Freshmen interested in concentration information in Romance Languages should feel free to explore this website or to contact Dr. Elvira Di Fabio or, Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies or Prof. Mary Gaylord , Director of Undergraduate Studies, with any questions.

Please refer to weekly updates in the Yard Bulletin for advising information. Informational events for Freshman will be posted on this website as well.

Don't forget the session during Opening week on Advising in Foreign Languages on Friday, September 14, 2007 on the first floor of Boylston Hall. Language advising is from 10-12 in Ticknor Lounge; and concentration advising is from 11-12 in the Fong Auditorium. Representatives from the Department of Romance Languages and other language departments will be available to answer your questions regarding course placement, citations, and concentration information.

There is also a concentration information session from 11-12 on the same day in Fong Auditorium, Boylston Hall on the first floor of Boylston Hall. This event consists of brief presentations on language concentrations by representatives from the various departments.

IMPORTANT: FALL TERM PLACEMENT TESTS IN ROMANCE
LANGUAGES AND LITERATURES! Locations and other details
of placement tests will be posted in all freshman dorm
entries and in the Freshman Dean's Office, as well as
on the FDO Web site.
