USING THE DIGITAL RECORDER

Please sign out the DM-10 from Kathy Coviello in Boylston 404.
(Unit is in an orange canvas case, with small plug-in microphone (not necessary), stand,
user guide and extra batteries.)
Be sure to also take a consent form which must be signed by all speakers.

Instructions:

1) To turn on, slide down the Hold button (on back).
2) Press Record.
3) When finished, press Stop. (That's it!)

4) Return unit and signed consent form to Kathy.
5) Send e-mail to ochs@fas.harvard.edu indicating that a recording is ready for uploading to the RLL Audio Archives.

For those interested in saving a recording on a computer, a software CD is available (see Kathy). This said, the DM-10 plugs into and is recognized by most PCs without any special program. Once attached, double click on the icon, navigate to the X folder, and save the file.
Detailed instructions for downloading audio recordings to your computer are available here.
