Reischauer Institute Dissertation Production Grants (PDF)
The Edwin O. Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies will provide small grants (maximum $500) to help cover word-processing, binding, or other costs for the final draft of the dissertation to qualified Harvard doctoral candidates in the field of Japanese studies in the humanities or social sciences.
Application Process
Please submit a complete application consisting of the following:
- Curriculum vitae -- include:
• Citizenship
• Social Security number
• Harvard ID number
• Current/permanent address, tel. number(s), email address
- Date PhD degree to be awarded
- Academic department and field of study.
- Name of thesis advisor
- Thesis abstract (1 page)
- Itemized budget
Submit completed proposal to:
