Mikyung Kang: New Korean Collection Librarian, Harvard-Yenching Library


Mikyung Kang recently served as Korean studies librarian at Stanford University’s East Asian Library, where she developed the Korean language collection and provided in-depth reference and consultation services in Korean studies. She held a similar position at UCLA’s Richard C. Rudolph East Asian Library, where she developed the collection and designed and conducted library instruction programs related to the Korean materials. She earned a BA from Korea’s Sookmyung Women’s University and an MLS from UCLA.
