Graduate Student Grants for summer 2008, and academic year 2008-09

The Charles Warren Center awards grants to Ph.D. candidates at Harvard working on topics in American history. To be funded, the student must have passed the general examination, the project must be centered in American history and the methodology must be historical.

Summer Research Grant -- Deadline is March 12, 2008 for summer 2008 grants. Submit GSAS Standard Application Form for Summer Fellowships (accessible soon at http://www.gsas.harvard.edu/current_students/graduate_summer_standard_application.php) by March 12 deadline. NOTE: This deadline and application process are a change from recent years, when the Warren Center used its own application and had an April deadline. Term Time Research Grant -- Deadline is March 12, 2008 for semester-long research grants in the fall or spring semesters of 2008-09. Submit Warren Center application form (follow link at the start of this paragraph) to Emerson Hall 400 by March 12th deadline.

Dissertation Completion Grant -- Deadline is March 12, 2008 for 10-month completion grants during academic year 2008-09. Submit GSAS Standard Application Form for Completion Fellowships (available at http://www.gsas.harvard.edu/current_students/dissertation_completion_standard_application.php) by March 12th deadline.
