Additional Resources for scholars of Russia, East Europe, and Eurasia
In addition to organizing the National Convention and publishing Slavic Review, and NewsNet, the AAASS also serves Slavic scholars and the field in other ways.
The AAASS also gathers and makes available to Slavic scholars the following information that helps them find employment; support their research, teaching, and study; network with other scholars; and present and publish their research:

In addition, the Association collects important data in certain areas of Slavic studies, which indirectly indicate the state and strength of the field:
- Annual Survey of Graduates in Russian, Eurasian, and East European Studies (2000 through 2007)
- Listing of Summer Programs (published annually in the January issue of NewsNet)
- AAASS Members' Research in Progress (published annually in the October issue of NewsNet)
